Delete Your WDYWD Account
This page explains how to permanently delete your WDYWD account and the shared WDYWD relationship data connected to it.
Delete your account in WDYWD
The preferred deletion path is inside the WDYWD app:
- Open WDYWD.
- Go to US.
- Open ACCOUNT / SETTINGS.
- Select DELETE ACCOUNT.
- Enter your current password.
- Type DELETE when prompted.
- Confirm deletion.
The in-app flow uses your authenticated session, requires your current password and typed DELETE confirmation, and performs deletion server-side.
Can’t access the app?
Contact WDYWD Support at developer@builtbyflint.com and state that you want your WDYWD account deleted.
Send the request from the email address associated with your WDYWD account when possible. Support may require identity verification before completing the request.
Never send your WDYWD password or authentication code by email.
What gets deleted
Deleting your WDYWD account removes:
- your WDYWD account;
- your profile;
- the shared couple relationship;
- the active date;
- skipped-date history;
- completed shared Memories/history;
- ratings;
- shared monthly skip history;
- relationship invitations;
- anniversary and provisional partner relationship data.
What happens to your partner
If you are connected to a partner, deleting your account also ends the shared WDYWD relationship.
Your partner keeps their own WDYWD account access, their own profile, and their own saved preferences. They become unpaired.
The previous shared relationship and its shared history are not preserved for either partner.
What may remain outside WDYWD control
WDYWD does not promise deletion of operational, security, delivery, infrastructure, backup, or other records independently controlled by third-party service providers. Those providers may retain records according to their own policies, security requirements, service configuration, or legal obligations.
